Background & Context
The Utah Chamber is the voice of the Utah business community, representing and uniting diverse industries, large or small, rural or urban, and across the state. From the deserts of St. George to the peaks of the Wasatch Front, the Utah Chamber helps to amplify their needs and challenges in Salt Lake City and in Washington, D.C., advocating for pro-business policies.
Unified Voice
The Utah Chamber reflects the progress and evolution of Utah’s economy and the state. The complexity of Utah’s business community requires a collaborative organization and a unified voice that focuses on statewide issues and opportunities to strengthen the economy and improve the quality of life for all Utahns.

Utah’s diverse communities and geographies present a broad range of needs. The Utah Chamber will allow for better understanding and perspectives of all businesses, large or small, rural or urban.
Elevation and Collaboration
The Utah Chamber will not replace any local chambers or industry associations, but will work collaboratively to elevate them, increasing access to resources, expertise and providing a stronger voice, especially in policy advocacy.

Utah Rising: A Free Enterprise Vision for Utah’s Economy is a vision that includes a statewide, business-led plan to ensure a prosperous future for all Utahns. This partnership between the business community and the public sector will help Utah become and remain the top performing economy in the nation. The Utah Chamber will bolster this initiative designed to tackle challenges associated with continued growth, workforce, housing, transportation, livability, business environment and natural resources.
